Somalia is located in the Horn of Africa and is a country defined by civil unrest since the 1990s. Many Somalis live around the world, in the diaspora.
Somalis, whether in Somalia or in the diaspora around the world, are one of the least reached people groups and is one of the Spotlight Regions 2025 - 2029 within OM. Somalia is also one of the places with the highest persecution of Christians in the world, according to Open Doors, coming 2nd on their World Watch List 2024, as they are a strictly Sunni Muslim country. It is one of the most dangerous places to be a believer on the planet. Despite the risk, Somalis are more interested in the Gospel than ever before.

To reach our dispersed Somali Muslims worldwide, we use Facebook, TikTok, YouTube & TV, so they can hear the word of God from the privacy & safety of their own private spaces. Somali Muslims are more eager than ever before to know Jesus. Now is the time for Somalia.
